Presenting Nixie Veil ❤️ A Very Sweet First Hello

There is always something special about photographing a model for the first time. You don’t completely know what she will give you once the camera starts clicking, and she doesn’t quite know yet how far you are going to push the mood.
With Nixie Veil, that little mystery disappeared very quickly. She arrived with this sweet blonde look, delicate features and a smile that could easily convince you she was completely innocent. Then she put on the sheer floral babydoll, looked straight into my camera and started playing. That was the moment I knew we had something.
The location was modern and quite minimal dark kitchen details, warm wooden floors, grey chair so Nixie became all the color in the room. The soft pink flowers of her outfit worked beautifully against her fair skin and blonde hair, but what I liked most was the contrast between how delicate she looked and how confidently she began teasing the camera. At first it was little things. A strap slipping from her fingers. A glance over her shoulder. That quiet smile when she realized I was still shooting. And then she became much more adventurous.
We eventually moved to the chair, and suddenly this cute introduction became a completely different kind of debut. Nixie was flexible, playful and surprisingly fearless for our first shoot together. Every time I thought we had the photograph, she would change the pose slightly and give me another one. I particularly love that she never lost that sweet expression. Even at her boldest, there is still something soft and mischievous in her eyes. That combination photographs beautifully.
Presenting Nixie Veil is her debut on MetArt and also my first opportunity to introduce her through my photography. Judging by how naturally she settled in front of the camera, I have a feeling this will not be the last time you see her. Welcome, Nixie. ❤️
