Hareniks Erotichna 🏖️ Sand on Skin

Podcast:
Some locations are planned weeks in advance. Others simply appear in front of you and refuse to leave your mind.
We discovered this beach while driving around the island. From the road it looked almost untouched huge cliffs, endless sand, strong Atlantic waves and almost nobody around. The moment I saw it, I knew I wanted to shoot Hareniks there.

Getting there was another story.
We had to park quite far away and walk for almost half an hour carrying cameras, lenses, stands and all the other gear across the sand. It definitely wasn't the easiest location to reach, but Hareniks never complained. Actually, she was the complete opposite.
The more isolated the beach became, the happier she looked.
She was shouting, laughing, cheering and running around like somebody had suddenly given her an entire beach for herself. There was nobody watching us, no buildings, no noise just the wind, the ocean and those massive cliffs behind her.
That energy became the real inspiration for Hareniks Erotichna Sand on Skin.
Before we started, I explained what I wanted from the video. I didn't want something that felt too controlled or overly posed. I wanted her to play with the place, feel the sand on her body and let that sense of freedom become part of the performance.
And Hareniks understood it perfectly.
As the shooting continued, more and more sand ended up on her skin. On her arms, legs, stomach, everywhere. Normally during a shoot you might stop and clean everything, but here it looked better every minute. The sand became part of the mood.
By the final shots she was almost completely covered in it.
Then came my favorite moment and it wasn't something I had really planned.
When we finished, Hareniks suddenly ran naked toward the ocean. She crossed the empty beach, went straight into the water and started washing all the sand from her body while the waves came around her.
After carrying all that equipment, working under the sun and concentrating on every shot, suddenly everything became very simple.
Just Hareniks, the ocean and that completely empty beach.
I remember standing there watching her and thinking how beautiful the moment was. It felt less like the end of a production and more like the natural ending of the story we had just filmed.
Those unexpected moments are often the ones I remember the longest.
