Some shootings stay in your mind not only because of the photos, but because of everything around them. This set with Zelda B was the last shooting of our working week together. And honestly, it was one of those weeks I did not want to finish too fast. We had enough time to work, to laugh, to talk about everything, and yesā¦ I also cooked for her all week. Breakfast, lunch, dinner Zelda was not only my model, she became my lovely guest.
We first met almost two years ago during an Erotichna shooting, and since that time we were always saying we should work again. Finally, after two years, it happened. And I am happy it did, because Zelda is not only a beautiful woman in front of the camera. She is also someone very interesting to spend time with. You can talk with her about life, politics, the world, strange ideas, serious things, funny thingsā¦ and somehow the conversation always feels natural. Maybe this is why I miss her a little now. For this last set, I wanted something simple but full of feeling. We found this beautiful painting behind her, with colors that gave the whole room a warmer, more artistic mood. After a week under the sun, Zelda had this natural soft tan on her skin, and I really wanted to capture that glow before our week was over. And then Zelda did what Zelda does best. She moved so easily. Her hands, her eyes, the way she changed her pose without any stressā¦
everything was smooth, feminine, and quietly sexy. With some models, you need to direct every small detail.
With Zelda, it is different. She understands the moment. She lets her body speak, and the camera just follows. We were both surprised how quickly the shooting was finished. We even laughed about it. But sometimes when the chemistry is right, when the mood is right, and when the woman in front of you knows exactly how to give herself to the lens, there is no need to force anything. This was our last shooting of the week, but it became a beautiful memory for me. Zelda B gave me elegance, charm, soft sensuality, and that special little mystery that makes you want to look again.
I hope this year I can find another chance to work with her, because some women you enjoy photographing onceā¦ and some women you want to return to. Zelda is one of them. I hope you will enjoy this unforgettable set on MetArt.
