Pandora Red in The Invitation on VivThomas

Working with Pandora Red for VivThomas is always dangerous in the best possible way. We have the same kind of humor, so even when I am trying to concentrate behind the camera, she will suddenly say something completely unexpected and ruin my serious photographer face. 😄
With Pandora, the shoot never feels stiff or overly planned. We talk a lot about what people enjoy seeing and what makes an image feel genuinely seductive. At some point it usually becomes, “Okay… let’s give them what they came for.” That is when Pandora’s naughty side appears, and I have to admit, that little change in her attitude always gives me a spark in my stomach.
For The Invitation, we chose a very cozy bedroom with warm stone walls, soft white bedding and beautiful natural light. The room itself was actually quite small, but in the end that became one of the best parts of the shoot. There was almost nowhere for me to escape with the camera, so Pandora and I were working incredibly close together. It made everything feel much more intimate and personal.
She started in the blue-and-black lingerie with those beautiful stockings, looking glamorous and completely in control. Pandora is also incredibly flexible, so I barely need to explain a pose before she understands what I am looking for. Sitting, kneeling, stretching across the bed—she moves through everything so naturally that sometimes I am already shooting before I even have time to say, “Yes, exactly like that.”
And of course, as the set continued, the lingerie slowly became less important. 😉
What I love most is that Pandora can switch from joking with me one second to giving the camera that intense, naughty expression the next. That combination makes photographing her ridiculously enjoyable. You can see the glamorous Pandora, but also the playful woman behind the pictures.
I think The Invitation became one of those sets where the small room, the closeness, the jokes and Pandora’s energy all worked perfectly together. She looks absolutely gorgeous, confident and wonderfully provocative.
Now I am just crossing my fingers that this will not be our last shoot together. Pandora, I think we still have plenty of trouble left to create. ❤️
