Aria Star in Perfection 🥰

Podcast:
There are shoots where the location does half the work for you, and then there are shoots where the model completely takes over the room. With Aria Star, this modern kitchen quickly became her playground.
I wanted Perfection to begin almost innocently. Aria arrived in a tiny black floral dress and heels, looking elegant, feminine and maybe a little too sweet for what I already knew was coming. The clean white kitchen, grey surfaces and strong daylight created this almost polished advertising-world feeling which made Aria’s sensual energy stand out even more.
Behind the camera, I didn’t want to rush her. Aria is at her best when she has time to play with the space. A look toward the lens, a small smile, sitting on the counter, changing the position of her legs little things slowly started changing the atmosphere.
And that is the part I love about photographing her. She understands exactly when to be beautiful and when to become dangerous. As the dress disappeared, the photographs became much more direct, but I still wanted to keep that clean, almost luxurious feeling.
The kitchen table became our little stage and suddenly this everyday location felt completely different. Aria was confident, playful and wonderfully comfortable in front of my camera. At moments I was simply following her rather than directing her, because she already understood where the photograph needed to go. Her long dark hair, incredible eyes, heels and warm skin against the cold grey and white interior gave me exactly the contrast I was looking for. But beyond her beauty, it is her connection with the camera that makes these shoots special.
She knows how to hold your attention without trying too hard. That is why the name Perfection feels very appropriate to me. It was simple: one beautiful location, one beautiful woman, my camera… and enough chemistry to make a quiet kitchen feel considerably less innocent. You can now see Aria Star in Perfection on Femjoy.
