Malena Amaro

Malena Amaro made a memorable first impression on me. Our first photo session, Simply Irresistible for MetArt, was less about an elaborate idea than the pleasure of meeting someone new and taking time to notice her presence. It was the beginning of a collaboration I was happy to explore further.

Wild Little Secret brought a different kind of energy. On a wild beach I had found for the shoot, Malena was already enjoying the freedom of the setting before I started recording. Her spontaneous excitement gave the day its direction. Rather than interrupt that mood with too much instruction, I followed her rhythm and worked to capture what was already happening.

This page brings together my photographs of Malena and the stories behind our work for MetArt and Erotichna. Start with the portrait below, or open the original blog posts to read about our first meeting and the beach adventure from my side of the camera.
